HCAT's Third Birthday

Hull Collaborative Academy Trust is delighted to welcome it’s tenth primary school, on the day it is also 3 years old.

On July 1st 2013 HCAT was formed by five primary schools, today it not only celebrates its third birthday but welcomes Westcott Primary into its family, it is also the official opening of the new school building at Eastfield Primary School.

The day will be celebrated by the children and staff of each school to honour the occasion.

The opening of Eastfield’s brand new building will be a special part of this celebration with Amber and Rory Tiger cutting the ribbon and a host of dignitaries in attendance.

Katie Beal Headteacher at Eastfield and Vice CEO for HCAT says ‘All the HCAT staff and children have had so much to celebrate this year, it’s great that the whole of HCAT can enjoy the occasion. At Eastfield we are officially opening our fantastic new school which ensures our facilities match the outstanding education we offer.’

The HCAT journey has seen all its schools rated either Outstanding or Good by Ofsted and it provides over 3000 children in Hull with high quality education

It is a quadruple celebration for HCAT as going into our 4th year Estelle Macdonald our CEO was recently awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
